Ultimate chocolate fudge cake (Best chocolate cake)


Ultimate Chocolate Fudge Cake


   Materials:


   • Self-rising flour 250 (two hundred and fifty grams)

   • Cocoa powder 50 grams (fifty grams)

   • Dark chocolate 250 g (250 g), broken into pieces

   • Light musk sugar 250 (two hundred and fifty grams) grams

   • 250 g unsalted butter, softened

   • Eggs 4 (four) large

   • Vanilla extract 1 (one) tap

   For Butter Cream-

   • Icing sugar 200 (two hundred grams) grams, sifted

   • Unsalted butter 200 (two hundred grams) grams,

   • Dark chocolate 200 g, melted

   For topping-

   • Dark chocolate 50 grams (fifty grams)

   • cocoa powder



   Way-


   • Preheat oven to 160C/Gas, line baking paper and 2 x deep 20cm spring form cake tins.  Take a bowl and mix all purpose flour and cocoa powder in it.  Take a pan, melt chocolate, sugar and butter with 100 ml of water and turn on the gas till it becomes smooth, then let the mixture cool down.

   • Once it cools down, pour it into the mixing bowl and beat the eggs one by one, followed by the vanilla extract.  Slowly whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until they are completely combined.

   • Pour the batter into the center of the cake tin and bake for 32 minutes, if it looks like it is about to be baked, check the center with a knife, if the knife comes out clean, then the cake is baked, top it  It may crack a bit but it will be covered while slicing.  After baking and icing, leave it to cool.

   • To make butter cream, using electric beater, beat icing sugar and butter for 5 to 6 minutes or until light and fluffy.  Mix in melted chocolate until smooth and buttercream spread, layer buttercream on top of one cake, then sandwich the other sponge on top.  Spread another thick layer on top, using the remainder to cover the sides.  Keep it in the fridge to set for 20 to 25 minutes.

   • To make the topping, use a large knife or peeler to curl and sharpen the surface of the chocolate.  Use these on top of the cake with a dusting of cocoa powder.  If you do not want to use cocoa powder, then crush or rub your favorite chocolate to decorate it, the Ultimate Chocolate Fudge Cake is ready.
