Paneer Manchurian
Materials-
• 250 grams (1/2 pound) paneer (paneer).
• 2 tbsp maida (maida).
• 4 tbsp cornflour (corn starch).
• 1/2 tsp garlic paste.
• 1/2 tsp ginger paste.
• Cooking oil.
• Salt.
• 1/4 cup water.
For Saute:
• 1/2 tsp garlic paste.
• 1/2 tsp ginger paste.
• 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum.
• 1 small onion, finely chopped.
• 1 green chili, finely chopped.
• 2 tbsp finely chopped green onions.
• 2 tbsp cooking oil.
• 1 tbsp soy sauce.
• 1/2 tbsp chili sauce.
• 2 Tbsp tomato ketchup.
• Salt.
Description-
Instructions for Manchurian:-
• Cut the whole paneer into small cubes. Take a bowl, mix all purpose flour, cornflour, salt, ginger paste and garlic paste with 1/4 cup of water and make a thick batter.
• Add small pieces of paneer to this prepared batter, now mix them and let it marinate for twenty minutes.
• Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, deep fry the marinated, batter coated paneer cubes on a medium flame till they turn golden brown.
• Now filter them and take them out in the plate, lay a paper in the plate beforehand (so that the excess oil is removed).
Instructions for frying:-
• Heat two tablespoons of oil in a broad, thin bottomed pan on medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the ginger paste, garlic paste and sauté on a medium flame for thirty seconds.
• Now after roasting them add chopped green chillies, chopped capsicum and chopped onions. Fry them for three minutes.
• Now put soy sauce, tomato ketchup chili sauce and salt on it. Add fried paneer pieces and spring onions, now mix all the ingredients well.
• Toss everything a few times and cook on high flame for two minutes.
Your Paneer Manchurian Dry is ready.
Serve garnished with chopped green onions.
