Chocolate Biscuit Cake
Ingredients for Chocolate Biscuit Cake-
• Digestive biscuits 800 grams.
• Hundred grams of dry fruits (walnuts, cashew nuts)
• Dark Chocolate Syrup.
• One cup (two hundred grams) of sugar.
• one cup (sixty grams) cocoa powder.
• One cup (240 ml) of water.
• 2/3 (two-thirds) cup butter.
• 1 (one) teaspoon vanilla extract.
• Chocolate Ganache.
• 1/2 cup (120 grams) whipping cream.
• One hundred and twenty grams of sweet chocolate
chopped.
Method-
1 - First of all take a big bowl, put small pieces of biscuits in it.
2 - Turn on the gas on medium flame and place a non stick pan and heat it, toast the dry fruits for 4 minutes, stir the dry fruits frequently, after toasting, put them over the biscuits in a bowl.
3 - Next, mix sugar and cocoa powder in a medium saucepan. Stir it to mix and slowly add water to it, while adding water, keep stirring it well so that it mixes well. Now add butter to sugar and cocoa powder and turn the flame to medium, boil on medium heat for 7-8 minutes, stirring well in between. Now switch off the gas and after it cools down a bit, add vanilla extract to it. Leave it for some time to cool down completely. Now your sugar syrup is ready.
4 - Now pour this syrup over the biscuits and dry fruits, and stir it well.
5 - Now put this mixture in a 9 inch non stick round cake utensil.
Or put it in a cake pot.
6 - Take a spoon, using the back side of it, press the batter well.
8 - Prepare chocolate ganache. Take a small saucepan, put cream in it and heat it till it boils.
